Dr Abid Nisar is a dual-fellowship Emergency Medicine Consultant (FRCEM & FEBEM) with over 15 years of international clinical practice spanning the UK, India, and China.
He currently holds a substantive consultant post at University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust, where he serves as a lead clinician in a busy tertiary Emergency Department and as an Educational and Clinical Supervisor for junior doctors and trainees.
He is a recognised leader in emergency medicine education, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), and clinical AI, serving concurrently as Chief Medical Officer at Rhazes AI and Founder of ClinicianOS, an AI-powered platform reimagining how clinicians manage professional knowledge.
Dr Nisar completed his CCT in Emergency Medicine through the East Midlands Deanery (2018–2023) and holds a Masters in Emergency Medicine from George Washington University, USA. He is an ATLS Instructor (Royal College of Surgeons England), ALS Instructor (Resuscitation Council UK), BLS/ACLS Instructor (AHA), POCUS Instructor (Level 1 & 2), and Resuscitative Thoracotomy Instructor (RCS London).
An examiner for the European Board of Emergency Medicine and the MEM-GWU programme, he has delivered faculty contributions at conferences across four continents, including the ICEM Conference, DREAM Abu Dhabi, and the Asian Conference of Emergency Medicine
He is a core member of the IFEM Informatics and Environmental Special Interest Groups and serves as a GreenED Assessor. Dr Nisar is also Course Director of AIRx — Essential AI for Clinicians, delivered at ICEM, RCEM, and IFEM conferences.
